Another week coming up which means another weekly meal plan with some tasty dishes for you all! The Weekly Meal Plan for March 10 features cuisine from all over the globe. We’ve got classic French Dishes, some beautiful recipes from Japan, and bringing it home, some good ol’ American cuisine. So, lets jump into these awesome meals!
A trendy French Classic kicks off the week
This is a dish that is currently super trendy, so of course we’ve put our version forward for you all to enjoy. We’re talking about the French Classic Steak au Poivre. We’ve kept this dish super traditional, with beautifully tender Filet Steak cooked with a amazing Creamy Peppercorn Sauce. Finished off in true French Brasserie style with a generous serving of Fries
The one twist we’ve put on this dish is our version includes Szechuan Peppercorns in the sauce. These bad boys add an amazing flavor and zing that makes the dish truly unique
A true American Classic for the Fun and Interesting Dish
You can barely go a block in the US of A without finding this awesome dish being served up in restaurants. That’s right – the one and old Fried Chicken Sandwich is making an appearing on our Weekly Meal Plan for March 10
An absolute classic and with good reason. Beautifully double-coated Chicken Thighs deep fried to a crispy golden-brown finish then placed in a burger with a tangy Mayo based sauce. Finished off with some Lettuce and tangy Pickles. We dare you to just make 1!
Heading to Japan for the Healthy Dish this week
We love cooking Salmon at Dinnertime Somewhere, which you’ve probably already noticed if you’ve seen a few of our weekly meal plans. For our Healthy Salmon dish this week we’re making the famous Teriyaki Salmon dish with Sushi Rice!
No need to buy that ready-made stuff from the supermarket, we’ve got an awesome Teriyaki Sauce recipe which blows the other stuff away. Our recipe gives you a beautifully cooked piece of Salmon with Crispy Skin, with a deep, rich flavored Teriyaki Sauce glazed on top
Save some of that Teriyaki Sauce and Chicken for Lunch
We would be remiss to not utilize Teriyaki Sauce and leftover Chicken sitting in the refrigerator right? How about making some delicious Teriyaki Chicken Skewers with them? This is such a fun dish to make and so easy
Simply place the Chicken and some Scallions on Skewers, give it a good basting of Teriyaki Sauce then cook to perfection! They’re a great lunch and taste even better than they look!

Lunching on Leftovers – Teriyaki Chicken Skewers
Keep some of that leftover Chicken and Teriyaki Sauce and make some Yakitori! The classic Teriyaki Chicken Skewers are a great use for the Teriyaki Sauce and taste great!

- 2 large Beef Tenderloin Filets 6 – 8 oz. each
- 2 lbs. Chicken Thighs
- 2 Salmon Fillets, Skin on
- 1 cup Sushi Rice
- 1 Cup Plain Flour
- 1 bag of Martins Sandwich Potato Rolls
- 1 cup Chicken Stock (recipe here)
- 1 tsp. Grated Ginger
- 1 bunch of Bok Choy or Chinese Broccoli
- 1 cup (100g) Shiitake Mushrooms
- 4 Scallions
- 1 Shallot
- 4 sprigs of Thyme
- 4 Garlic Cloves
- 3 Lemon
- 1 tsp. Rice Wine Vinegar
- 1 tsp. White Sugar
- 1/3 cup Soy Sauce
- ¼ cup Mirin
- ¼ cup Cooking Sake
- 1 tbsp. Honey
- 1 tbsp. Brown Sugar
- ½ tsp. Sesame Oil
- 1 tsp. Cornstarch
- 1 tbsp. Paprika
- 1 tbsp. Garlic Powder
- 1 tbsp. Onion Powder
- 1 tbsp. Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tsp. Chili Powder
- 1 tbsp. Baking Powder
- 2 tsp. Vegetable Oil
- 1 gallon of Canola Oil
- 200g / 7 oz. Heavy Cream
- 2 Cups Whole Milk
- 1 tbsp. Dijon Mustard
- 4 tbsp. Unsalted Butter
- 1 ½ tbsp. Cognac or Brandy
- 2 tbsp. Japanese Kewpie Mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp. Japanese BBQ Sauce
- 1 jar of Pickles in Brine
- 3 tbsp. Whole Black Peppercorns
- 1 tbsp. Szechuan Peppercorns
- Salt and Pepper
- Optional toppings: chopped Scallions, Furikake Rice Seasoning
