We’re super excited to share our Weekly Meal Plan for January 14 with you all! This weeks meal plan has some of our favorite dishes. Not only do all these dishes taste amazing, but they are stunning to look at. So, get your cameras ready and share with us how you went with these delicious dishes. We’d love to see it!

An Epic Cook Up dish with intense richness and flavor

The Epic Cook Up for this week is one of our favorite dishes. It is none other than the beautiful Braised Beef Cheeks with Pedro Ximenez. This dish comes to us care of the amazing Movida Restaurant in Melbourne, Australia. An unbelievably tender piece of slowly braised Beef Cheeks cooked in the rich dessert sherry known as Pedro Ximenez from Jerez, Spain. To add to the decadence – it’s nestled on a bed of velvety Cauliflower Puree

Make an amply supply of that delicious Cauliflower Puree, because our Lunching on Leftovers dish for this week makes use of this amazing dish. Add a few tasty ingredients such as Sharp Cheddar and Roasted Garlic and you’ve got a stunning Cauliflower Cheddar Soup. It’s a perfect, warming soup for those cold January Winters

A Butter based healthy dish this week? Damn right!

Our Healthy Dish of this week comes care of a beautiful piece of Cod, pan fried to perfection with crispy skin and some lovely, steamed vegetables. Oh, forgot to mention. It’s also swimming in a beautiful Beurre Blanc Butter Sauce! We had so much fun making this recipe, Beurre Blanc is such a great sauce! Light, velvety, and pairs perfectly with a beautifully cooked piece of fish. Give it a go, we’re sure you’ll like it!

Rounding out the week are our Cumin Lamb Skewers. A super simple recipe to make but absolutely bursting with spice and flavor. This dish was inspired by our many visits to some amazing Chinese restaurants around the SGV region in Los Angeles. Cumin and Lamb are an amazing combination. So, get yourself a lovely piece of Lamb (we suggest Lamb Backstrap) and try this wonderful dish

Full list of Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. Beef Cheeks
  • 2 lbs. Lamb Backstrap
  • 2 Cod Filets, skin on
  • 4 Bacon Rashers
  • 2 cups (16 fl. oz) Beef Stock (see recipe)
  • ½ cup Croutons
  • ½ Shallot
  • 2 Carrots
  • 2 Brown Onions
  • 2 Garlic Bulbs
  • 1 head of Cauliflower
  • 1 cup Scallions
  • 8 spears of Chinese Broccoli or Asparagus
  • 4 sprigs of Thyme
  • 1 tbsp. Peanuts
  • 1 tbsp. Chives
  • 1 tbsp. Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp. Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tbsp. Honey
  • 1 tsp. Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tsp. Sesame Oil
  • ½ cup Soy Sauce
  • ¼ cup Chinese Vinegar
  • 2 cups (16 fl. oz.) Pedro Ximenez Shery Wine
  • ¼ cup White Wine
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese
  • 10 tbsp. Unsalted Butter
  • 300 ml Heavy Cream
  • 4 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • Salt
