The artform of baking is truly a science that takes years to master. We here at Dinnertime Somewhere are by no means experts when it comes to baking. However, that doesn’t mean we don’t love us a good Pastry Snacks. There is something simply magical about biting into a flaky, crispy, buttery pastry to kick off a meal, or as a snack isn’t there? There is also a lot of nostalgia linked to a good Pastry Snack isn’t there? Remember Pop Tarts? Sure you do! Such an awesome snack to eat, perhaps when you got home from School? We’ll definitely be doing our best to try and recreate dishes such as the iconic Pop Tart here!
I think what is so loved about good Pastry Snacks is the simplicity of the whole thing. You’ve got a delicious morsel of food which fits into one hand. They can be eaten on the go. They are filled with all kinds of deliciousness that you just know, biting into a delicious Pastry really is going to be a treat. Sure they leave a bunch of crumbs everywhere, but that’s for another time to clean up. This is all about enjoy amazing food, which is what we’re all about!
