Instead of resorting to bags of chips or candy bars we created the modern day healthy snacking alternative \u2013 Snacking Salmon! A simple Oven Roasted Salmon that tastes delicious<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-16018d1d wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button has-custom-width wp-block-button__width-50 has-custom-font-size\" style=\"font-size:12px\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-white-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-element-button\" href=\"#jump-here\">Jump to Recipe<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:15px\">The point of this recipe is to literally have a big chunk of lovely salmon that flakes apart perfectly to be eaten as is or mixed in with some leftover salad or simply on a piece of bread with some butter and flaky salt. We would cook this up in the morning, leave it out on the kitchen bench then just snack away until it\u2019s all gone. What could be easier?! You can prepare the salmon with either a Filet or Tail. Preferably get a larger portion, so about 1 \u2013 1.5 lbs. is perfect. You may need to adjust the cooking time slightly for smaller cuts. We prefer using the whole side of the Salmon for one reason \u2013 you get more of it!<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This recipe will work with any kind of Salmon<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:15px\">There are so many different types of Salmon from all around the world. In our opinion, all Salmon is delicious, but they do taste very different depending on where they are caught or farmed from. It\u2019s always best to eat as locally as possible when it comes to Seafood. Mainly because you know there\u2019s a much higher chance it will be fresher, and it\u2019s great to support your local fishers and community when it comes to buying produce<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-5483265561586305\"\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\n     style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\"\n     data-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-5483265561586305\"\n     data-ad-slot=\"7869471218\"><\/ins>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:15px\">Most Salmon is frozen as soon as it is brought off the ships anyway, so even if you\u2019re say, in California and eating Atlantic Salmon, it\u2019ll be perfectly fine. In fact, Atlantic Salmon is one of our favorites. A good rule of thumb is to get to know your local fish monger and ask for their opinions about which Salmon is best. The Snacking Salmon recipe does involve cooking Salmon (not raw) so you\u2019ve got a wider option of fish to chose from. Flake off pieces and eat as you wish!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Oven Roasted Salmon is best cooked on a low temperature will ensure an evenly cooked, beautifully tender piece of Fish<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:15px\">Pan roasting is a great way to prepare Fish. There is so much less margin for error compared to pan frying. You set the temperature and let the heat from the oven do all the work. For this recipe we roast the Salmon on quite a low temperature of 225F \/ 107C and slowly roast the Fish. This is a great method to preserve the tenderness and juiciness of the Fish<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:15px\">After roasting for about 20 \u2013 25 minutes you\u2019re left with a simply delicious, flaky piece of Salmon. There\u2019s nothing more to it than that. Simply put the Salmon in the Oven, wait 25 minutes and it\u2019s done!<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">You can cook the Salmon either with the skin on, or the skin off<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:15px\">If you want to remove the Skin before cooking you can, but there is no need. You cook the Oven Roasted Salmon skin-side down anyway, and when it\u2019s cooked you simply peel away the beautiful flesh. The Skin is discarded so there is no need to cook it. I think that cooking the Salmon with the Skin on will yield a better result. The oils from the Skin will absorb into the flesh as you\u2019re cooking the Salmon, leaving a tastier and juicier piece of Fish<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:15px\">If you do want to remove the Salmon Skin before cooking that\u2019s easy to do. Season with Salt and Pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:15px\">Place Salmon in the middle of an oven heated to 225 degrees and cook for 20 \u2013 25 minutes. Until the flesh is a lovely bright pink color<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:15px\">Remove from oven and leave to cool for 20 \u2013 30 minutes. Squeeze the Lemon Juice over the top, add some flaky salt then proceed to pick away at the flakes of Salmon whenever you feel hungry!<br><br><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:15px\">What\u2019s great about this dish is the skin sticks to the foil so it\u2019s really easy to peel away the flesh as you desire.
